PLASTIC PIPE SYSTEMS A SYSTEM WITH A FUTURE

Akatherm FIP offers you as a competent and reliable partner high quality pipe systems made of adhesive and weldable plastics. Akatherm FIP advises FIP with extensive know-how right from the planning stage. For specific areas of application Akatherm FIP provide you with the best quality of various thermoplastic plastic products, such as Pipes, fittings and fittings. Individual plastic pipe system solutions round off the wide-ranging standard delivery program.

Adhesive plastics

In industry, adhesive plastics are enjoying ever greater popularity. Pipes, fittings, fittings, flanges or various accessories made of PVC-U, PVC-C and ABS have proven themselves in many industries, e.g. Automotive or electronics or wherever low heat processing is required. Thanks to the quick and easy installation using adhesive technology, they can be installed quickly, easily and cost-effectively using simple processing tools. In addition, the technical design of glued plastic pipeline components is much easier due to the lower coefficient of linear expansion. Not every material is suitable for every application. Which bondable material is the best for the application is determined by the criteria of operating pressure, operating temperature, the conveyed medium and the duration of the load.

Weldable plastics

Weldable plastics are used in many application areas in industry. Pipes, fittings, fittings. Flanges and various accessories made of PE, PP or PVDF can be homogeneously connected to one another using various welding processes (heating element socket welding, heating element butt welding or electrofusion welding). The welded connection is made without the addition of chemical additives and is therefore made of pure material. Every weldable plastic has its specific strengths in terms of operating pressure, operating temperature, the conveyed medium and the duration of stress. As a result, a precise test of the suitability of the material should be carried out before a system is built.

Different thermoplastics offer different properties in terms of chemical resistance, impact resistance, pressure and temperature resistance. It is all the more important to carefully select materials, taking into account the requirements. Lifetime and chemical resistance as well as the lower weight are just some of the decisive advantages of plastic pipeline components compared to traditional materials. Akatherm FIP offers you tailor-made solutions from its extensive portfolio, optimized to your requirements – from a single source.

Automatic fittings

Pneumatic or electrical automatic fittings have become indispensable in industrial applications. For regulating, shutting off, monitoring and controlling industrial pipe systems, e.g. in chemistry or water treatment they are required in a wide variety of fields of application. The FlowX3 and the variable area flow meter program for measuring flow rates of almost all liquid media is also being used more and more, for example in plant engineering, chemical, semiconductor and beverage industries.

Every application has its own characteristics, which can be found in the design of the pipeline system. It is therefore very important to find the best solution for each individual use case. In addition to the actual selection of materials (PVC-U, PVC-C, ABS, PP, PVDF), which is made for the entire system, the following criteria must be taken into account when selecting automatic valves: Maximum operating pressure, pumped medium, operating temperature, functional and safety conditions, options for supplementary kits, installation conditions and the duration of the load.

PE-HD double pipe systems for problematic and temperature-critical media

Double pipe systems are used if by Media transported in pipelines pose particular risks, the environment in the pipe laying area must be specially protected or the medium itself has to be shielded from environmental influences.

Akatherm FIP offers two standard double pipe systems made of PE-HD plastic with AkathermPlus and AkathermThermoPlus can be adapted to individual application profiles with optional additional equipment.

AkathermThermoPlus with a self-limiting n Heating tape available. For example, greasy wastewater is “kept at temperature” to prevent the pipelines from clogging.
